Oscar’s 2025 Best & Worst Looks
The Oscars have finished and these are my breakdowns from the night, who nailed it and who missed the mark?
A roundup of my absolute favourite looks here starting with:
Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton - the ultimate villain dress but oh so chic and fabulous.
Elle Fanning in Givenchy - I adore this look, its classic, its elegant, its a total win for me.
Emma Stone in Louis Vuitton - super simple but she slays.
Lisa in Markgong - love love love.
Bruna Marquezine in custom Atelier Versace - the cut of this dressing is giving even more body, she looks incredible.
Halle Berry in Christian Siriano - Halle is just over here defying age, this dress is unreal on her.
Lupita Nyong’o in Chanel - simple, chic, the white on her looks another level.
Selena Gomez in Ralph Lauren - this is just ultimate glamour, the neckline, the cut, she left no crumbs in this look.
The ones below just missed the mark for me, for various reasons, some are just a little too much dress, some look a bit other realmy but not in a good way, what do you think?
Lily-Rose Depp in Chanel - the awkward ruffles, I don’t really have anything positive to say about this dress, its a flop.
Whoopi Goldberg in Christian Siriano - you in danger girl, of being smothered by this dress.
Penélope Cruz in Chanel - everyone who owns eyes can see Penélope is a stunning woman, this dress is doing nothing for her.
Alba Rohrwacher in Valentino Haute Couture - when you have to attend a red carpet event at 6 and be back on the set of Les Mis at 8.
Ana de Armas in Louis Vuitton - beautiful woman, boring dress, I feel like I’ve seen this a thousand times, her body is unreal but it looks like something she could have picked up anywhere.
Clarence Maclin and Divine G - too gimicky.
Joe Locke in Celine - this Bridgerton/ wedding / magician mash up was not it.
Storm Reid in Alexandre Vauthier - an underwhelming mini dress hidden under an overwhelming cape.
